Jenny Kim from M.A.P styled Camille's hair for Seafolly's Preview '14 campaign. She tells us how to create this soft and voluminous look:
1. For those with straight hair, prep clean damp locks from roots to tips with KMS Sea Salt Spray. Flip your hair over and scrunch handfuls when blow-drying towards the ends to achieve a matte fullness. Tip: to minimise frizz before blow-drying, ring your hair dry in a towel; don't rub!
2. With your head upright, take a 1.5 to 2-inch barrel tong (the longer your hair, the bigger and larger the tong should be to achieve that relaxed natural wave) and take 2-inch sections of hair. Starting at the roots, twist the hair in half rotation away from your face, and twirl towards the ends to create a 'wiggle' wave rather than a curl. NOTE: If you already have a natural wave, give your clean, dry hair a light spritz with KMS Body Build Detangler (it‘s just wet enough to bring back a natural bend in the hair but won't make it lose its volume) gently raking it through with your fingers by letting it set behind the ears.
3. For both hair types, shake your head several times to loosen the curls. If the ends need taming, warm the tiniest bit of Murray's Hair Glo in your hands and comb your fingers through, giving the ends a smooth finish.
